DEFINITION AND REQUIREMENTS

Protection against mechanical hazards is expressed by a pictogram, followed by a letter, then a number.

a) A1 to A9 - Resistance to Cut. Classification level for cut resistance (ANSI/ISEA 105-2016) is based on average force of a minimum of three specimens.
